Default Should I resurface my heads?

I am putting in new head gaskets, switching to the metal ones. My car has never overheated or anything, but it does have 120k miles on it. Should I resurface the heads before putting them back on?

if there is a lot of sealing ring-indention I would get them resurfaced. with that many miles I would guess they would need it. Also the cleaning process most machine shops use berfore and after resufacing, would get rid of some of the carbon build up in the runners and that will help the effiencey and performance of the heads.
