Misfire code after cam???
) whats your inputs? get a tune, and it will never happen again? anything i can do for the time being to counter this, or is it not cam related? do i need more back pressure in the exhaust since its basically straight though? who tells you ANY amount of back pressure is good for your engine.
Second, if the valve timing has changed significantly, you need to inform the
computer when to inject the fuel.
It may be sending a signal too soon (spraying on a closed valve), or too late
(lowering the effective compression charge).
A tune is essential.
Most likely. If not, the dynamics will change as the injector goes to a near
full duty cycle.
At higher RPM, under performance conditions, the injector timing and pusle
width will change.
It still may not be optimal, but it may cover some low RPM/crusing mode
injector timing issues.
