Default where to start...

ok i have pacesetter lt's on the way and a LID, so far my only mods. my next mod i want to be a cam w/ springs and pushrods what drivable cam will get me over 400 HP? i am trying to beat my friends 1990 240 sx he is running 20 PSI with a 50shot... not dynoed yet with that setup but we think it's around 400 HP


but anyways i know i will not beat him with just the cam ( hoping to go the nitrious rout after the cam)

Are you talking flywheel power or rear wheel power? Also, if you plan on using a large shot of spray, you may want to look at a split pattern cam suited for spray. Around a 100 shot, moat any cam will be okay but a bigger shot will react better with a split pattern cam. To get 400 RWHP is gonna take a big stick without heads to go with it. Start looking at something mid 230* duration with close to .600 lift to start.
