"e" is extreme. 6 bolts bolt it up to the flexplate instead of 3 for one difference.

Yanks hit hard. For example a guy around here has one around a 35 or 3600 in his H/C car, pulls his stock 17" chrome wheel and hits a 12.1 @ 111 on an et street.

build your car right the first time.... yes it will take a little more money but it will be well worth it when good parts are installed properly... just take your time and be happy

the cam is 230+, on the strong side. I dont want to go much higher than a 3600 just cause i drive the car a lot and dont want any tranny temp issues

Then get an SS4000, B&M deep tranny pan, B&M tranny cooler with a trans go shift kit and call it good. There really won't be that much difference in drivablity between the 3600 and the 4000 but with that 230+ cam the shift extension of the 4000 will be in your favor.

You have to do the converter first because the big Cam won't even idle in gear with a stock converter.

Converter, my opinion. It was one of the coolest mods I have ever done.

well thats a really good reason to do the converter first stupid question, why so? To much load on it at low rpm and will make the car stall?

With a Cam you have to raise the idle rpm.If the Cam is big it might have to idle at 900-1000rpm.Try bringing the idle to 1000rpm and hit it in gear, the car wants to go with a stock converter
