To clone first get ALL the specs of a FM13 from a cam doctor.
Send that to cam motion an they will duplicate.
But why unless you can get that info free.
If you want a FM13 then call FMS and order one.
Clones are usually lesser performers as stated above.

I have yet to hear from any one with the 3725R/3726R or a comparable Comp Cam....

Yes, I know the futral f-13 is a good cam and that is why I considered it in the first place. I did my research!

i'de go with comp. i'de go with LG motorsports too. it's funny,i only know 4-people with the fm cams and one hasn't put it in yet. the dyno #'s and track times didn't impress me at all. i've seem more power from the old mti hammer cam.

Are you serious? Some of the highest dynoing and fastest H/C cars are running FMS cams. FMS cams, along with LG's cams, are some of the most proven cams out there for LS1s, both on the dyno and at the track. (?)

Like I said, I do not want to clone the F-13, I only want one similar.

Why would I want to clone it and then call up Cam-Motion???
Like I said earlier, I know someone at Comp where I can a cam for cheap... If I was going to pay regular price I would buy it from Futral.....

I appreciate the info......

LG uses off the shelf comp XE-R lobes...... As far as the specs between the FMS and the comp, that slight bit of reverse at .200" could very well be the diffrence in why Futral cams make such great mid range power. Peak numbers between the 2 will be very close, but it is under the curve that will get you there quiker.

It has been done!

I called up Comp and ordered 3725R/3726R (230/232 @ .050" 591/.595 on a 114 lsa). It was $304.75 and will be ready by the end of the week!

Thanks to all who participated in this thread... Sorry I meant to post this earlier...
