Default Hybrid conversion about cooling tube?

Hey All:

I'm putting a ls1 into a miata and working on the cooling system routing at the moment. My ? is....the coolant line for the cylinder heads...the one under the throttle body. Can it be put into the cooling system anywhere....or does it have to go the right side of the radiator like I have seen on the f-bodies. I know its to help air pockets (steam) to purge into the cooling system due to the design of the heads. I do not have a flow chart of the cooling system, but so far I'm know the rest is easy...just want to get this issue sorted and routed right.

Thanks

Tim

im running into the same problem. ive heard to vent it just under the rad cap, a few guys have posted pics of where they tapped out the water pump housing and put it back in the system there.
i cant say for sure.... im researching this matter as well.
good luck.

I turned up a piece of aluminum to go in the upper radiator hose and tapped it with a 1/8 NPT for a barbed fitting to connect it to.

here you go: https://shell7.tdl.com/~jags/Pages/P...rass-Tees.html

maybe the headers will even fit! They fit the FC and FD RX-7 with LS1.
