Is it possible to have a g5x3 or a t-rex and make it quiet? I know it makes no since but just wondering if it's possible.

It wouldn't be that loud through full exhaust with cats; it's just that most people don't run them that way because a cam with a lot of overlap needs minimal backpresure to work. My solution was to run three straight-through mufflers, two with three inch inlets on each header, and one with a 4 inch inlet on a 4 inch y pipe. My car is still not queit, but at or below the 93 db limit where I autoX.

Since I don't have cats and a have flowcrapper do you think a g5x3 on a 114 will be to loud or should I add cats. I just don't want to kill the hp with cats guess i might have to quiet it down.

I had a Flowmaster 80 with cats and it sounded almost stock. I say get some high-flow cats and a Borla XR1. That should flow well and not be too loud.

Buy my FM11 and it'll sound pretty stock. I want to go a tad bit bigger.
