Default Rod Bolts?

alright, i'm planning on getting a larger cam in the future and spinning my motor to about 7000 RPM's (t-rex, ms3, etc). I figured the first thing i should do in preperation is rod bolts. As far as I know ARP makes the best bolts, is this true? If so, should I get the High-Performance bolts or the Pro-Series? If not, feel free to make a suggestion.

Now- after I get my rod bolts, what am I going to need to SAFELY spin to 7,000 RPM's? This is my DD so I dont need to have my **** falling apart, and I'm trying to do everything i can before hand.

Katech makes good rod bolts also.... Do a search... they are supposed better balanced.

If you plan to regularly spin the motor to 7K+ it won't last long I imagine. If you do so only under race cirumstances the rod bolts should be good to go with supporting heads/cam and a good tune.

You only need to spin the engine as high as your heads/cam can support. Higher revs will shorten an engine's life span quickly no matter what the buildup.

I did the Katech bolts. They are very nice and very close to the same weight as the stockers.

Aren't the arp's 3 grams heavier then stock? That's 6 grams more rotating mass on the big end journal.
