Cam install question!!!

Do you have to remove the oil pan on a 99 LS1 to replace the cam?? Am planning on doin it this weekend and if so I need to get the gasket! Thanks for the help!!

You will only have to loosen the oil pan if you need to take off your oil pump. And the gasket is reusable. Read the cam install write-up in ls1howto.com and you'll be good to go.
