Eagle parts have the best value of just about anything on the market.

I dont think ANYONE makes a bad ls1 crank. Even the stockers hold up under some massive power. Eagle is value oriented, but i dont think anyone is having problems with them now, although earlier ones did have some bugs that needed to be worked out. Lots of happy customers now though.

We use the Eagle crank in our 402 short blocks & we have not had any problems. Everything is done over seas from forging to finnal heat treat on the Eagle cranks. The only thing we have ever ran into is sometimes the counter weights are slightly larger in some cases & it causes the skirt of the piston to hit. We then have to mill a small amount off of the piston skirt for it to clear. I would not be afraid to use an Eagle in a N/A aplication.

I am still a firm believer in using a Callies crank for the serious aplications. Lots of NOS, turbo, blower... 700 + flywheel hp. We keep eather crank in stock, and the price difference is very little (cheap insurance as I always say).
