need pushrod length verification...

need pushrod length verification... i have an 01 Z28 m6 car with about 30k miles on it. im doing the heads (patriot ls6 59cc heads) and a lunati cam shaft thats 224/224 .563/.563 on a 112 lsa. so, i orignally had 7.400" hardened one piece pushrods, but then i called lunati and they said if the heads are stock height then i need a 7.425" pushrod to get the .030 preload on the lifters. does this sound right? i already have the new pushrods and am about to change the cam this weekend. also, patriot said their heads are milled to stock height? is this true? im just a lil noid about this, and i want it to be perfect. thanks.
