Down a cylinder....?

Down a cylinder....? Or not? Engine was running rough like I was missing a cylinder but at idle it also fluctuated rpm (almost like a vacuum leak somewhere). I check all the plug wires, all were connected and good (no tears.. etc.) Checked every place there could possibly even be a vacuum leak, didn't find anything. I also took it out and floored it, seemed to trap the same speed in a known area just seemed like it was running quite rough. WTF?
