Default which cam will be better?

all variables the same, on a full bolt-on and six speed car with a 4:11 geared 9" rear either a tr 224 112 cam or a rpm5 238/244 586/612 115lsa?

which will be faster at the track?
On the street?
and why?

First off you might want to post this in the drag racing forum. If your suspension is already setup, and you don't mind spinning the motor into the 7000 rpm range then you will probably benefit from the much larger cam. But the car will be less responsive in the lower rpm range and will suffer in drivability a little bit. For an everyday street car i would suggest an fm13, a g5x2 or 3 or any of the other comparable cams as these are very street friendly and can still put the numbers down on the track.

FWIW, the two cams you mentioned are very different and you're comparing apples to oranges with your setup. May want to search around on the drag racing forum and learn more about suspension as that is what is more important at the track.
