Well, I fired up new motor today.. (427) Good news is it started right up..

Bad news... The motor raced and I shut it down a second later.. (did it twice)

Any ideas what would cause this??

IAC plunger stuck in (wide open.) Take out the IAC and gently pull the plunger out aways, but don't pull it right out of the unit! Be firm but gentle. Put it back in the TB and try again.
