GM Mechanic Manuals
GM Mechanic Manuals Has anyone purchased the Mechanic Manuals from Chevy for their car? I'm thinking about going with these over a Haynes manual. I had a friend who bought them for his car, and he said it was worth every penny.
I assume you are talking about the GM service manuals from Helm Inc. If that is the case yes they are very good manuals and cover EVERYTHING about the car. The manuals are divided into 3 volumes (like 2000 pages total). I have them for my car and like them. They are quite pricey though: 130$.

GM Tech CD Guys,
GM does have the manuals on cd. The cd actually covers ALL GM VEHICLES from I think 1990 and newer. The good thing about this is that you only have to buy one set and then you have it for all your GM cars!!!!!
