Trex Help...
Ok, the car is a drag car, driven on the street less than 3 times a month. Ive got a Moser 9" w/ 3.70s, TH-400 w/ 3800 stall and a transbrake and 26" tall tires. Running stock heads and a 228/232 cam my best et has been 11.6s on 3455 race weight. I have to shift around 6200 with that cam. Im not happy with shifting at 6200. I wanna go all the way to 6700-6900. Is the Trex what I need? If I get this Trex, do I need to go to a 28" tall tire? change rear end gearing? Thanks

The Trex typically peaks around 6800 and carries well into 7400 RPM. Yes you will benefit from gears with this cam as well, 4.10's minimum I would say and probably loves 4.56's..

I think most people have had the best results shifting around 7200. I would think 3.90's to 4.11's should be pretty good for gears. You'd probably see some ET improvements with a 4200 or bigger stall also.
