Default Comp 918's - How long do they last??

Compared to stock LS6's??

I'm looking at several used sets, but I'm wondering; Are these things going to last like stock valve springs, or am I going to have to change them out every so often?

In other words, do they offer stock-like durability - 100K miles w/o worries (w/ say a cam w/ a 57x lift, i.e. LPE GT2-3)?

Thanks in advance.

The durability has alot to do with the cam specs, but no matter what cam you go with dont pinch pennies and buy used springs,I think that the 918's are great springs that can take alot more cam than most peeps give them credit for I have used them for 1 1/2 years on a 575/597 lift cam with no problem and am thinking of going to even a larger cam and staying with the 918's

It would be best to check them periodically....like after the first year to see how they are holding up, every setup is different especially how you treat them.

Thanks for the input.. But I'm a bit confused.. If these are great springs offering OEM-like durability, then why would it matter if you bought a set w/ a few thousand miles on them? Seems like your statement is in conflict with itself. (?)

I have a set with 50K miles on them, don't know what kinda shape they are in other than they aren't broke.
