Default ls1 problems times inside, input needed

car: 1998 camaro z28
mods: ported tb, cutout, tsp lid
times: 13.48@104 2.0 60 ft

problem: just intalled 3400 stall
times: 13.3@100 1.8 60 ft
times: 13.4@100 1.7 60 ft

with my old times and a stall i was hoping for a 12.9-13.0, especially with those 60 fts.

seems as my car dies around the 1/8?

8.5@80 in the 1/8 mile.

my friend who installed my stall, told me i had "slack" in my drivetrain. could that be the problem? if so...what or how can i fix this problem?

i don't know exactly what he means by slack in the drivetrain.you need to scan it while making a pass to make sure everything is all right.if it feels like it is dying after the 1/8th i would suspect your getting some KR and the computer is pulling some timing.it's normal to lose a little mph with a stall but i would think you would have picked up at least 3/10ths.
