I'd go with at least a 224 sized cam. Then you'll gain a LOT more midrange and still more topend than the ls6 cam.

I say blow this off and put in the 224 cam of your choice . . . Thunder Racing or TSP would be good for sure.

The 01 year Z06 cam is smaller and less agressive then the 02+ cams. I belive that the power went from 385 in 01 to 405 in 02+
