Over-filed rings.. :(

Went a little over on a 2 rings when filing.

Does anyone know where I could purchase 2 Diamond 3.905" top rings?? Diamond says they won't do it, so I hope I'm not SOL here.

I have a broken up set I would be willing to part out a few rings from. I'd be looking for $25 for the rings I can have them in a box today and out the door if ordered by 5pm EST.

that sounds like a killer deal to me...if you only went over .001"to .002" I would not worry about it.

A bit expensive but it sucks breaking up a set of $170 rings just to get 1 set for 1 piston and then having 7 left over.. That's why we have to make up some cost. But I do have them sitting here waiting to leave. As Brent said if its very close I wouldnt worry too much but depends on what you are setting the car up for n/a, fi, n2o.. N/A is a little more forgiving than any of the others obviously.

I'm only about .001-.002", maybe a little more over on the 2, but the ends are pretty choppy and uneven. Call me picky, but I'd like to redo.
