Default F15 Pvc ?????

I am looking into the F15 or F14 cam, I have searched and found that with the F14 you can safely mill the stock 5.7 heads .20 and retain a safe PVC. What is most you can mill the 5.7 heads with the F15? Motor is all stock.

F14 232"/234" .598"/.598" 112LSA
F15 236"/239" .600"/.611" 111LSA

I wouldnt mill with the F15 if I were you, I think its like 60 or 70 thousandths clearance. I hope you dont plan on either of those cams without any boltons...

i'd spend the money on full boltons before getting a cam. (lid, exhaust, headers, gears at the minimum)

I just got my pacesetter coated headers, and off road y, I am having the throttle body ported, I already have a lid, ls6 intake, besides underdrive pulley and gears what would you recommend?

So i would be better off miling the 5.7 heads with the f14. The f15 would work best with ls6 or 5.3 style heads? These larger cams will work better with higher compression? I can't afford to buy heads.

i personally think the F14 is a stronger cam, w/ or w/o heads. either one will run better w/heads. however, the f14 gives you more leeway when it comes to heads.

I'd say go F14 and leave the heads for now. If you decide to do heads later on you'll have room. If you plan on doing heads you may want to talk around first though, may be some better cams out there for a heads/cam setup. These two cams are setup to make big power for stock heads. You might can make similar power with a smaller cam thats been ground for your particular head choice if thats the route you want to go. You're good to go as far as bolton's are concerned
