Default preload question

is 2 turns of preload to much with comp 1.75 adjustable rockers, with oe 850 lifters, i went by crane instructions, because they use the same thread pitch as comp

You really need to measure the preload directly either with a dial indicator or marking the PR. Don't guess. You can get burned.

And take it from someone who use to make shaft rockers, you start using the adjuster to make up for pushrod length and your geometry will be all out of wack any you will break parts.
