Default Valve Train noise

Recently purchased a 1999 SS, Auto, with MTI stage II heads (2.02", 1.60" Valves) MTI Stealth cam (0.591 lift, 220 duration, 115 lobe sep with Crane 1.8 rocker arms) MTI custom 3" Y pipe, MAC full length headers, LS6 intake modified by Agistino Racing, MTI ported T-body, MTI Pulley, Yank 3000 Stall, Borla non-adjustable cat-back, MTI intake box w/K&N filter, Hotchkis subframe connectors (welded) 1LE sway bars,HAL QA1 adjustable shocks.

no for the bad part... Ive recently notice a tapping noise from the drivers side valve cover, per my neighbors request (check this out) we took a wooden dowl rod and placed it to the valve cover and to the ear and listened. Beleave it or not you could hear a differance, the passanger side all sounded the same, and the drivers side front 2 cylinders have a deeper sounding tapping noise, is this normal ?

The unwritten trouble-shooting matrix

If all are doing the same:

Could All be bad, or could all be good

If some are doing different:

Some are bad, some are good.

Seems like a clearance issue (pre-load). Does this sound go away as the
engine warms/cool?

sound is the same at idle, warm/cool, but does seem to get a bit louder with acceleration.
