SEARCH and READ THE STICKIES. Read JRP's cam guide. If you can't find it, check the stickies in the new enthusiasts section. One is by JRP, read the links in his sig. You are in no way ready to get a cam.

In all honesty I believe this thread should be closed now. If you have any specific questions after readin the prescribed material, then ask away.

you dont think his car is ready for a cam? I think he would see some sort of gains out of it. What do you recomend he do first?

He needs to get bolt-ons first. You could put a smallish cam into a totally stock and see some sort of gains, but that's not the way to do it. Read the links in JRP's sig. He has now posted in this thread, so no need to go find his sig.

The only people that should be getting a cam on stock manifolds know what they are getting into and have their reasons. This is obviously not the case. There are many things that could/should be done before a cam.
