Exclamation installed heads/cam/intake/headers. now car is stumbling and throwing codes.

i installed TEA Stage 2.5 LS6 heads, FM13 cam, Fast 90mm with a nick williams tb, and 1 7/8" stainless kooks on a buddys car this weekend. Car has Zero Tuning as of now (getting tuned fri). also the car is running open headers since the ypipe didnt come in in time

car started up and idled fine, however when you drive it, it bucks really bad and misses and sound like its loading up. it also will stall out as soon as you pull up to a traffic light

it is throwing a few codes so i pulled them and got:
(1) p1153 - insufficient switching bank 2 sensor 1 (possibly bad pass front 02??)
(2) p0106 - MAP system performance (map sensor not sealing in intake????)
(3) p0105 - MAP sensor circuit insufficient activity (same as above ????)
(4) p0155 - heated oxygen sensor circuit bank 2 sensor 1 (not sure on this one)
(5) p0135 - heater circuit bank 1 sensor 1 (again not sure)

what could be causing the codes??
could running the open headers be causing the last 2??
am i correct on what is causing codes 2 and 3, if so how can i seal the map sensor to the fast intake??
would these codes cause the car to buck and miss real bad??

any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
ryan

Your o2 codes are from the open headers, not sure about your MAP problem.

I fired mine up just to hear it open header and it ran real choppy. I put my Y pipe on and drove it for a day and it was alot smoother with the Y pipe.

If the o2's are not providing feedback, that could be it. Could also be the simple fact that there is no tune.

Is it possible that the MAP sensor was damaged with the manifold reinstall?

Right now, I wouldn't worry till you get the y-pipe on and get a basic idle tune done. The stalling and all could be simple VE and RAF issues, that a tune will fix.

The MAP is your biggest problem! Even with the o2 codes or even completely dead o2 sensors, you car would happily drive in open loop mode, the way a car normally drives before the o2 sensors have heated up fully. The problem is that the fueling is based off the VE table which relies on MAP vs RPM. The MAP sensor is a major player in getting the car to run correctly. Concentrate on that and the o2 codes can wait till after you get the exhaust on.

from digging around the first map code p0106 seems to be pretty normal with big cams

i have a feeling that p0105 is from the map sensor being loose in the fast intake (for those that havent installed one it is really ghey how the sensor just kinda sits in there with nothing to seal it or hold it down)

thanks for the help so far guys

anyone else?

Make sure the MAP sensor is pluged in and is sealing good in the intake. I have seen them fall out of the fast intake on occassion and I know it has been a problem for some people in the past.
