I was flippin through the pages of the new GMHTP and saw a Skoggin Dickey add and they sell valvesprings rated up to .600 lift for only $118, has anybody heard of these and would they be comparable to Comps 918's? any info appreciated, thanks.

I've put them in about 5 different cars now with no problems with lifts up to .588". Never had any problems with 918's but with SDPC springs you get Ti retainers for a few bucks more.

Make sure you get this kit: http://www.sdpc2000.com/cart.asp?act...2270&pid=90943
Unless you already have retainers. The springs are not conical like the stockers, so stock retainers won't work.

They were probably thinking of a non-LS1 spring unless they have been redesigned in the last 2 weeks. The only springs that they had for a stock retainer were the 918's.
