First off this should be in the internal section. Secondly do you have supporting bolt ons for a cam? Headers? gears? M6 or A4? The car will be louder all the time. Once tuned there should be no big change in gas mileage. Going from 3.23's to 3.73's made a bigger difference than my cam swap did.
I'd say get a F11 from Futral Motorsports. It'll lope, but still be very driveable. They're a sponsor ====>

You can do just the cam but you wont get the full benefit. You should look into headers, p&p t/b, lid, etc to help the aftermarket cam breathe.

Keep in mind all the stuff that goes with a cam and it easily adds up to well over $1000(cam, tune, spring/retainers/seats, pushrods, etc)

You can put a cam in a stock car, but you wont get the most out of the cam, so why do it. With a cam i'd say you def need:
aftermarket air lid
LT headers
good cat-back or duals

There are many cams out there to choose from for a daily driver, TR224, TSP has a couple, and the F10 or F11. Many to pick from, check the sponsors------------->>>
