Okay i put new 5.3 heads on and milled .020 i have comp r lifters and and comp pushrods a f1 cam .591 .569 lift here is the deal just got everything on drove fine for a while got down on it hard a few times ran great. no weird noises well today leaving the exhaust shop i got down on it early shifted spinning into second then let out well when i let out it was ticking hell of loud then all the sudden no more tick. What could this have been? Maybe lifters from idling for about 8 minutes do that? Thanks for any help but it is gone now but would just like to know.
