Question How much to mill heads?

I got theAFR 225cc Cylinder heads with the 72cc Chambers and felpro head gaskets with .041 thickness i was wondering how much i had to mill the heads and to what chamber size to get 11:1 CR? and if my cam with a 231.8/237.1 Duration, .589/.598 lift on a 111.9 LSA +4 Degrees Advance ground in would have any Piston to valve clearance problems on the stock ls1 motor once the heads are milled to the correct size. Thanks alot for the help!!

about .063 to achieve 11.0 CR, your best bet is to follow Tony's advice and wait on the 62cc's (sell the 72's), or run a domed piston. or just sell/exhange the 225's for some 66cc 205's and mill those .024.

I would check the fit of the intake manifold before gettting to crazy on the heads. I don't know how AFRs fit, but on most heads if you start milling too much, then the intake bolts don't line up.
