highest compression with 93 octane???

Default highest compression with 93 octane???

what is the highest compression possible to run with 93 octane? after tuning of course.

anybody know the increase in hp with going to 12:1 - 12.5:1 compression?

depends on your cam. static compression is pretty much meaningless. you need to calulate your dynamic compression. People are running 13:1 static compression on pump gas with long-duration cams.

I agree.
Most setup can run 11.5 or higher with 93.

i run 11.3 to 1 with no problems. you can expect about a 3% increase in power across the board from going up a full point in compresssion. full point as in 10:1 to 11:1. id say the highest compression you want to run on pump gas is about 11.7:1. anything more is really pushing it, and if you have to pull timing because of it, your gonna be losing power not gaining. stay below 11.8 to 1 and you should be ok.
