I GOT IT OUT, SHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEW!!!! i started to use it like a tap, in some then back it out, did that 2 times and it came out with little force. the last 3 threads on the bolt are broken off, used a magnet and they were in piece in the crank and i pulled them all out. im working on cleaning the cranks up and then im gonna run a tap through it.

after that im gonna get a rod and correctly seat the pulley the rest of the way. if anyone has any other pointers on what to do for these next things let me know so i dont screw up again and can fix it so i can use the threads in there now. it seems only the last 3 threads were boogered up. the stock bolt will thread in by hand up until the point where the longer one started to mess up. thanks for all the help guys, its much appreciated!

When I made my tool I found the rod at a local mom and pop hardware store, they had a huge box of it sittin in the basement, check around places like that. I've also heard NAPA carries it. I might be able to hook you up with some if you can't find it locally, let me know.

Will you be making anymore of your installation tools? If so, put me down for one. If not, what is the pitch of the threaded rod you used to make it? Maybe I can find some threaded rod at a local hardware store to make my own.

Very weird. I wonder if some of the new ASP pulleys are different b/c mine went on the nose of the crank pretty far. I didn't even heat it up. I was able to get 3-4 threads started with the STOCK bolt by HAND. Pulled it on nicely.

Exactly, I have taken the ASP pulley off a few times on my car, and when I put it back on I just use the stock bolt, turn it in by hand then crank it down with the impact, then do the 250ft lbs, etc, etc.

Never once used a longer bolt, that sucks! Glad you got it out and done!!
