I am wondering if I got a good deal and how much horsepower this will net?
I made 400 rwhp cam only with a Magic Stick v3 237/242 .603/.609 113 and other supporting bolt ons listed in my sig. Also I just ordered a new Forged 346 from HPE. How much should I hope for like 420 rwhp?

 

Those look pretty nice. I'd check your P-V clearance as that cam is quite big, and who knows what the 'students' did to them really. I'd expect at least 425rwhp if you are already making 400. My "guess," on the account that the flow numbers are actual, would be 440rwhp

 

contact Erik and see if he can give you more information on the heads. also, you do know that you'll need to buy the 98 valve covers dont you.

 

Didnt know that... But, not a problem. Hey JRP do i have to the bare heads to a machine shop to get assembled? Someome was telling me i could do everything but the valve seats..

 

not bad for $350 !

 

Very good price but 500-295, 550-305, 600-311 looks high for stock valves..

 

Is it possible to ask what flow bench they were tested on and if a radiused plate or clay was used to flow the intake? As mentioned above, the price is nice, but the flow with stock valves looks a bit high.
