I Am Upgrading My 2001 Firebird. I Am Wanting To Put A Cam And New Valve Springs In This. I Am Wondering If I Put A Cam With 114 Lobe 220's Dur And A 550 Lift If That Would Be Enough.i Am Putting On Headers Also While The Engine Is Out. I Need Some Help With My Decision. I Want To Drive This Car Around Town, And Then Race It Sometimes.

 

Enough for what? It wouldn't be enough for me. You will be leaving power on the table. Look into something the size of an FM13 or 14, TSP 233/239, Torquer r.2, etc.

 

Look into the LG cams as well!
