I heard it was possible to swap the head on a 2004 silverado (5.3) with a corvette head... Is this possible? If so, then which corvette head and what other conversions need to be made? Thanks for your help

However since you have already asked.
There are many different head casting's that will work on a LS1.
You have a LS6 head which is found on the Z06 vette and on the 05 GTO/C6 using the LS2 motor.
You have quite a few different LS1 casting's depending on the year.
806/241 are a couple of the different castings.
There are the 6.0 Aluminum heads off the 6.0 GM trucks.
There are also the 4.8 and 5.3 heads off other GM cars.
Thr 4.8 and 5.3 have the same casting number.
All are interchangeable.
