Default 6.0L Pistons...what to use...

I have maybe changed my original plan and might consider going with aftermarket pistons in my 6.0L build for my SSR. I wanted to maybe stay on the stock side which would give increased power over my current 5.3L, but might do mild mods to help with performance.

I will probably use the stock bottom end and just run a decent cam that will work with my automatic and either LS6 or LQ9 heads (depending on what pistons I go with).

Who makes pistons for this bore size at a reasonable price? Anyone have any part numbers for the pistons?

Guys, give me an idea on what you would do with a small budget to get my 5.3L SSR changed to a 6.0L with some horsepower and torque.

What heads, cam, and pistons combo would one use for a person on a budget and would a person go with a stall speed to help with the automatic and cam combo?

This is my daily drive and what it to be a good driver, but also want that kick in the pants torque. I would like to see 425hp.

Names of specific products and combos are appreciated (with part numbers if possible).

I should be able to start building it within the next 2 weeks and have it in by the first week in June!

Default Rotating assembly

I have a set of Wiseco forged pistons 4.00 bore new in box, I-beam billet rods new and a stock Ls1 crank less than 15,000 miles, moly rings and std bearings to go with the crank I can balance it and sell you the whole rotating group for 1,300 shipped all you need is a block.

We sell many pistons for your setup every week. We also have some good deals on rods but I need to post tomorrow when I can see my books again. I like Wiseco, Diamond and Mahle and we also have other brands as well. I just sold some pistons exactly like this today!

Go with a sponsor from this board. They are experts in their field and have a reputation to uphold and you will get great service and be pleased with your purchase. Just my opinion.....

Agreed. For the average enthusiast having a motor built, the advice and experience is well worth any price difference.
