newb with a question Hello everybody. The problem I have is on swapping a cam. I installed the jpr cam tool and now when I push down on the pushrods they move down and then they will move up with the cam lobe. That means they are not locked in place right. Thanks for any help.

If you look at a cutaway/drawing you will see that those slots we stick dowel rods or the JPR tool in aren't directly under the middle of the lifter and they are shaped in a manner that allows a little movement. Have to see it, I cna't explain it. But you should be fine.
