Default ls1 to ls6 cam help

i have the opportunity to pick up a 03 ls6 cam, springs, retainers and pushrods for basically nothing

so heres my question, would it benifit me to change the springs and retainers or can i leave the stock ls1 springs/retainers on the car, and just change the cam and pushrod? is there anything i else i might need to change other than the cankbolt or front main seal?

You need the LS6 valve springs. Installing the pushrods and retainers is up to you and are the same as the LS1. You will also need the crank bolt, front seal, timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, new coolant.
