i think its the lifters?

alrighty every mornin i turn on my car to warm it up i hear a tickin or clickin noise comin from the engine after a while it goes away but its annoying, does anybody know what this might be if not the lifters and how can i make it go away .......thanks for the help

Seems like lash in the valve train.

As the valve train components warm up, they metal expands and takes up
the clearances.

Who setup the rockers?

my mechanic did pretty much all internal work on it ....their all original ls1 parts no after martket

Yep sounds like piston slap, especially if its ONLY on cold start up!!
