Just got done installing the Heads and cam. I really like the sound of the Torquer cam, and everything went pretty well I only had a little trouble setting the rockers, I used the patriot shaft mounts which required a much shorter pushrod, and I didn't get enough preload on one which caused the pushrod to slip out of the cup and break the cup. I do have one question, after taking a test drive, still have open headers(pacesetter LT's) and patriot Stg2 heads, TSP 233/233 cam, 4000stall, the car does not feel very strong and basicly runs like crap, the tranny seems to hunt for a gear (shifting from first to second quickly). I dod not drive the car far due to the noise. My question is when I get the car tuned will this solve my problems or does anyone think i might have another problem somewhere else? Thanks for reading.
