engine knock You know how a engine sounds when its low on oil? my engine will make that sound, even though I have 7 quarts in it I have a 2001 WS6. And when it warms up it will stop. should I worry about this?

will be harmful for your engine... check your dipstick and correct the level!
If you have a sound kind of like a marble or marbles starting about 20 seconds after a cold start and also after a warm restart, then you most likely have piston slap which isn't harmful.

Sounds like the infamous "cold piston slap". Do a search, you'll find lots of posts. Most LS1's seem to have this feature. I think it's at least partly due to the block expanding faster than the pistons.
Actually, piston slap has more to do with the metal content of the pistons and the barrel shape cast that figures in the expansion rates. Its seems a lot of the LS1's are on the high side of tolerance as far as piston/bore clearance.
