Default broken valves?/

What are some symptoms of a broken valve or bent pushrods or any problems with the heads other than the gaskets. Im trying to figure out why my car is running like ****! Its eating up gas like a **** and I have no power where I used to. I have no low end tq anymore. 3rd and 4th gears are weak, when they used to be very strong. Before it was tuned, it still ran good, I got it tuned a few days after and ran great. Now, 6 months later its running like dookie. A little help would be nice.

someone's had to have broken a valve and had symptoms...come on tech

Bent a valve in my IROC, and the symptoms described in your first post were what it was doing, plus the ticking/clicking noise. Have you over revved it, what makes you think it's in the valvetrain? Might be time to take off the valve covers and take a look
Not going to say definately valvetrain, but if everthing else has checked out, that'd be my next stop

ive checked the driver side and it kinda looked like one of the pushrods was slightly bent...very slight. I still need to check the passanger side. I dont think that Ive over reved it. I wont know till i finally pull the heads, but I need to get some gaskets and studs first.

If you still suspect a broken valve, a leakdown test could help determine what cylinder it is (if a piece of valve is missing or the stem is bent)

which is easier? doing that or pulling the heads?

Compression test is easier, but chances are that you're gonna have to pull the heads anyways. So do a compression test first to see which cylinder it is (b/c you may not be able to tell with the naked eye) and then pull the heads.
