ls1 heads vs ls6 heads? is there a big difference

Is there a big difference performance/flow wise between ls1 and ls6 heads, around the 2001 and 2002 era.

what are the HP numbers between the two.
also what numbers are on the casting so you know which heads you have?

is it better to upgrade from ls1 heads to ls6 heads or to just buy a quality ls1 heads from like AFR....

ls1 = 241 casting
ls6 = 243 casting

ls1 < ls6 < AFR
