Default engine louder?

my engine or exhaust seems to getting louder. is that cause the new heads and cam are breaking in? or am i dreaming?

My SLP exaust got louder over time. I believe the packing in the muffler begins to loosen up a bit and let a few more decibles out. If your mufflers are fiberglass packed, I bet that's whats happening.

Besides the lope of the cam YES. More compression with more fuel&air means
more to light off when it goes boom. Like comparing a regular firecracker to a
M-80.
