I wouldn't worry about the pressure... autotap should tell you if you have any major problems

Autotap arrives this week! Can't wait! Question though, if it is my maf being oily

1) How do I clean without breaking it
2) I have a 2001 Blazer and the MAF looks the same. Is there any one who can figure out for me if they are the same sensor?

MAF shouldn't be the same.
There are some threads on here on cleaning them. Q-Tips and something. Do a search, I've never tried it though - I'm getting te idea the break pretty easy.

My gut says MAF oiled or an air leak from mods.

Nothing else seems to be affected and it is also possible that you have already fixed your problem!

Good luck!

I'm just assuming they break easy, I've never broken one personally. Just looking at it though, yikes... I'll probobly play with that today and then drive it this afternoon.

I have been having a similar problem with the same symptoms. my car is 2000 z28 6speed, lid, pulley, tb bypass, jet-hot LTs, custom catted y, and gmmg.

I have had o2 sensor codes since I put the LTs on a year ago. Then a small ypipe leak happened about 6 months ago and I never had it fixed. people have told me the o2 sensor are bad.

Tonight I was trying to drive the car and it would drive like it was out of gas! It used to happen every so often but now its happening every few seconds. I dont think I can drive the car anywhere now! I plan on getting new o2 sensors and having the leak welded shut. I will let yall know what happens.

TTT for now.

Thanks for keeping me updated. I don't have any updates because the car has been parked since this started up. Perks of having a blazer for a daily, (which coincidentally threw a DTC a couple days after the ls1 started in, lol). Well, autotap arrived a week or so ago and my laptop arrived last night! So logging is going to start soon and I'm going to try to see if I can't figure out which sensor is making the car panic. I'll definately keep an eye on the o2 sensor readings. If thats the case why not just get simulators btw? I don't have them personally because i don't plan on removing the cats, but it seems like a cheap fix. Something to keep in mind you might want to try if this is a frequent problem for you. I'll let you know if i figure anything out tonight.

Ok, I have an update... Not positive its comprehensive but it is interesting. Does anybody see a way my problem could have been related to a lean condition? I did some basic logging stuff and found that I need to tune....
Trims ranged from 8.6 to 15.6 depending on throttle position and driving condition.
Spark Advance was 21 to 40.5
0 deg of knock retard
MAF read .91 to 28lbs.
I can get more information than this but this is a good start.... I can post the log file too if one of you more experienced LS1 genius's would like to take a look at it. I can post the WOT pic Cruise pic and Coast pic too. (screen captures at each stage). Let me know if any other numbers help... PIDs or what-not. Thoughts and suggestions please!

LTFTs ranged from 8.6 to 15.6 depending on throttle position and driving.
Average for my 15 min drive was 10.4 for bank 1 and 8.9 for bank 2. I plan on doing another log with paying special attention to the o2 sensors. ANy other suggestions for things to watch?

Drive a good 35-55 minutes and log for better averages. 15 minutes is not enough. FWIW.
