Default my plans...what do you think?

ok well what i'm thinking of doing is getting Thunder Racing Balanced & Blueprinted 347 cid shortblock or a shortblock from LME with the Thunder Racing Custom "CheaTR" Heads & Camshaft Package. i need to stay cali leagal thats why i'm going this route. i wanted a new engine anyway to replace my high milage one, so i thought well....while i'm there...lol. this H/C package is supposed to have a stock sounding/feeling idol, and it is emmisions friendly. with very few boltons, this made 395rwhp. with all boltons, i plan to make about 410 to the ground. do you guys think i'm going the right way with this? should i not even bother with the shortblock and just get the H/C and run it on my stock engine? all opinions are welcome.

How many miles do you have now? I would say if you have the coin get the forged SB and be done with it, one less thing to worry about. Also paves way for a power adder in the future.

Personally, I think you are making the right decision, and I wish that package was available a year ago. I definitely would have gone that route. Good Luck.

well if your motor has high mileage, why would u even think about sticking with your stock bottom end and getting the h/c package?? your bottom end is your main concern. id go with the whole package.
