Question Home Ported Heads

Ok well I finished the first head, still need a few touch ups done though. Ill get some better pics up later when I get a chance but here are a few rough pics for now. I want some feedback, good or bad doesnt matter I just want to learn. Im having fun and Im going to be doing some 5.3's to go on my car in about a week so any tips would help.. I personally think they look damn good considering its my first time, but still would like some feedback on them..

Looks like you need to go ahead and take the "ramp" on out since there isnt much of it left. I take em out of mine for the fact it isnt needed anymore for for low rpm driveability. Other than that its hard to tell by the pix, it may be a shadow or a gouge on the outside turn in the roof of the port beside the valve guide boss so look out for that

Yeah I noticed that in the picture, that will be smoothed along with the area around the guide. I though it was better to keep the ramp in? If its out its better for top end?

I took the ramp out of mine. Definitely better for top end. I can't tell from your pictures, but you can take the rocker bolt bulge out too. And remember to polish the exhaust, but leave the intake with a texture. Also taper the seats into the bowel.
