ditch the 231/237 idea. Its pretty much been fazed out to the 233/239 idea or larger.
the MS3 makes some really nice power from what i've seen aswell.
T-rex is right there with it.

I doubt you will be able to run the ms3 or trex with those heads, but I could be wrong.

Those are three different personalities. Will you be swapping to a higher stall converter? Those cams will want a 4k stall.

With heads and an LSX intake you should have no problem making over 400 rwhp, even through the auto.

If it's a street car primarily, or a daily driver go with the MS3. If it's only used on occasion go ***** out with the T-rex, but either way you will have to support it with high stall.

Full bolt-ons, a good tune and any of those cams should make right around 400RWHP w/ stock heads, except maybe the 231/237 but its not loosing that much to the others.

I don't think you are going to like the T-Rex cam on the street.

I'm probably making right at 400rwhp with my tsp231/237. I guess it isn't too bad compared to the others. It will most likely the lesser choice out of all of those. I'd go with the MS3 if you are going to choose between those three. I'd recommend testing out the f-14. It will put out better number than all of those (except *maybe* the TRex) However, it will drive way better and make way better low-end torque. TRex for straight drag. F-14 for street/strip.

You should make at least 450rwhp with the f-14 and the patriot heads.

You can also try a G5X cam. My X2 performs great for me(232/240), and I still retain a decent amount of driveability(its also all in the tune). It would be best to talk to a sponsor that makes the cam of how you would like your combo. They would be able to tell you if flycutting is necessary or not. And yes, a cut out is definately worth it. The best mod I have is the open cut-out, no doubt about it.

Well I'm making 400 on stock heads and that's before my ported TB, pulley, and a better tune. So yes you will easily meet your goal of 400 RWHP. This is my daily driver too...bucks a little at low rpms but idles fine.
