May be a stupid question but for a solid roller setup do you have to get the adjustables or non-adjustables?

 

You need adjustables.

With a new motor you need to adjust solids after 30 minutes. My experience has been that about half of them are off by a small bit after the first run of the motor. Check them again after 2 hours and a few need adjustment. After 4 hours, maybe only 2 need it. They begin to stabilize after 8 hours, then eveything has been through numerous heat cycles, revved, cooled off, broke in. They still need to be checked, but the adjustments keep getting smaller if you have a good valve train and good lock nuts. They are a lot of work.

 

Racecar....how do you like your Comp shaftmounts?

 

I love my comp shaftmounts. They are made by T&D. Very high quality and price is not too bad. I had the old red Comp shaft mounts made by DRE...they werent as good as the Comps. Comps are beefy.
