front engine seal part number i went to the dealer to get head gaskets and all the goodies to go back stock when i went to knock the front engine seal in i could push it in by hand which you usually have to knock it in with a 2x4 or something so i knew something was weird they gave me the AC delco part number12585673
is this correct, did they change it or give me the wrong part number cuz i thought the correct part number was 12561244

GM changed the seal around a year or so ago. I use some black GM silicone sealer around the outside edge before I install them in the cover. You are right about how easy they push in and out now.

Go to gmpartsdirect and enter the old number and see wtf it changes to when you add it to your basket.
