XE-R is a an aggressive lobe. Even with slower ramp rates two otherwise identical cams should produce roughly the same peak power output.

So you are saying that an XE-R lobed cam with .590 lift and otherwise equal specs to a TR224 (which has only .563 lift) would be weaker and slower than the TR224?

Where have you heard this?

no, same exact number outpurs, maybe not as high HP, but same 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, and 60' times, i read it on a post on this forum (by a Thunder Racing sponcer, but i believe him, haha)
